Since its founding nearly two decades ago, Spectra has had as one of its hallmarks an aggressive stance toward the future success of its clients. One of the most visible and meaningful elements of that strategy was the opening of a second fulfillment center in North Charleston in 2020, supplementing Spectra\u2019s fulfillment activities based at its headquarters in Columbia, SC. The center\u2019s opening coincided with a dramatic rise in demand for third party fulfillment solutions, as companies around the United States suddenly needed to meet customer expectations for fast, reliable shipping in a wide variety of industry sectors during the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Now, after having successfully managed the upheaval of the pandemic and continued to provide high quality fulfillment services for both existing and new clients throughout unprecedented challenges, Spectra has taken another step to prepare for additional successes on behalf of its partners. The company has moved its Charleston area fulfillment center from its original location to 3225 Fortune Drive, North Charleston, a site that is better positioned for logistics and promises to increase the efficiency with which Spectra can fulfill online orders in both B2B and B2C contexts. The new location is closer to Charleston\u2019s port and shipping district, making it more convenient for moving overseas shipments to and from the fulfillment center and on their way to end users with minimal delays.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

While many companies have suffered greatly from the instability, regulatory obstacles, and employee shortages associated with the pandemic, Spectra has worked hard to convert challenges into opportunities.
