NEW SOLUTIONS FOR INFECTION CONTROL IN HEALTHCARE
Infection prevention and control in healthcare is one of the biggest topics of discussion in the industry. Unfortunately, even as doctors and their supporting staff work hard to treat patients, cure diseases, and help them overcome severe threats to their health, there are often pathogens lurking in the very rooms where those processes are taking place. ON-SITE GENERATION AND APPLICATION
Producing and applying disinfectant within a hospital is easy with PCT’s equipment. The AnnihilyzerⓇ is a compact piece of equipment that performs the water electrolysis process in a self-contained chamber, producing two different products: the anolyte solution as a hospital grade disinfectant, and a catholyte solution that can be used as an all-purpose cleaner and degreaser.
While there are many benefits to generating disinfectant on site, more and more facilities are recognizing the financial advantages associated with eliminating packaging for disinfectant solution. Waste reduction mandates are coming into play in more states all the time, and the cleaning and disinfecting process is one of the largest sources of waste products that must be disposed of. Producing those resources on site means that there are no plastic bottles, wood pallets, or other items that must be disposed of following their use.
The spray cart provided by PCT is the most convenient, time-efficient method for applying hospital grade disinfectant to operating, patient, and exam rooms.
